There are an incredible number of factors that affect your chances of getting into college. Academic, leadership, extracurricular, and personality variables will all be considered by the admissions officers. There are many resources available that will estimate your chances of getting into college, but the answers that you will receive from those resources will vary widely.

Some of the academic factors you should consider when assessing your chances are your GPA, class rank, number of AP classes, SAT or ACT scores, if you have taken college courses in high school, and the difficulty of your high school schedule. Both of these can give you a general idea, but they do not fully represent the real chances of getting in to college. Feel free to use those sites as part of your knowledge base, but don't rely on them completely.
